Our Story
TAG Ranch was conceived as an intentional and powerful belief: when young people are given the right environment, support, and opportunity, they can grow into confident, resilient, and compassionate individuals.
What began as a love for the commitment to community has grown into a mission-driven ranch rooted in youth development and connection. From its earliest days, TAG Ranch has been shaped by the idea that experiences matter, that time spent learning, working together, and building relationships can leave a lasting impact.
Over time, the ranch has evolved into a safe haven, where purpose and gathering innately intersect. Youth programs, camps, and mentorship initiatives became the foundation, offering young people a space to build skills, confidence, and resilience through hands-on experiences and meaningful relationships. Alongside this work, TAG Ranch opened its gates to the community, welcoming celebrations, events, and shared moments that help sustain and support the mission.
Today, TAG stands as a ranch where growth transforms in many ways. Whether through a child discovering confidence, a family coming together, or a community gathering.
At its heart, TAG is about more than a breathtaking setting nestled in the mountains, it is about people. It is about creating space for learning, belonging, and hope to take root, and for the next generation to rise with strength and purpose.
The mission of the TAG Ranch & Foundation is to provide youth in Utah and beyond with a safe, educational, and life-enhancing environment where they can develop the skills needed to become confident, compassionate, and capable adults.
At TAG Ranch, we believe kids are our greatest hope for a more caring and inclusive future. Their creativity, imagination, and passion for life are powerful forces for good, and when nurtured with intention and support, they have the ability to positively shape the world around them. Property Overview
TAG Ranch sits on expansive and sacred grounds designed to support learning and meaningful gathering. Surrounded by open space and natural beauty, the property offers a rare blend of working ranch functionality and thoughtfully designed spaces that serve both youth programs and community events.

The ranch spans approximately 250 acres, providing room to roam, explore, and engage. Wide open meadows, mountain vistas and terrain, riding arenas, and outdoor gathering spaces to create an environment where young people can learn responsibility, teamwork, and respect for nature, while guests experience the sense of calm and connection that only open land can offer.

Mary Lee (ML) K. Robinson
Founder, Executive Director & Chief Inspirational Officer
Ever hopeful and deeply tenacious, ML has been driven by purpose from the very beginning. Instilled with the values of perseverance, compassion, and paying it forward at an early age, she has spent her life working to create meaningful opportunities for others.
TAG Ranch represents a lifelong dream: cultivating a safe, educational, and life-enhancing environment where our youth can thrive, develop skills, and grow into compassionate, confident. capable adults. ML understands firsthand the power of resilience and believes deeply in creating spaces where mentorship, connection, and possibility can flourish.
Her commitment to service has led her to spearhead numerous philanthropic initiatives and is a entrepreneur at heart. ML has never shied away from bold ideas or new paths.
At the center of everything she does is a deep love for the mission and for those she holds most dear. Her heart and loyalty are rooted in family, especially the love of her life, Malia, whose strength, passion, and fierce loyalty inspire her every day.
stef dean
Program & Equine Director
Stef Dean has served as Program and Equine Director at TAG for the past 12 years. A lifelong animal lover, Stef’s connection with horses is what originally brought her to TAG and continues to drive her work today. She is deeply passionate about sharing the transformative power of horses with children and is inspired daily by the confidence, strength, and joy they foster in young riders.
Having experienced firsthand the stability, purpose, and sense of belonging that horses have provided throughout her life, Stef is committed to creating that same meaningful experience for every camper and riding student at TAG. Her leadership is grounded in compassion, consistency, and a genuine belief in the positive impact of horsemanship.
Outside of TAG, Stef enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband, Cody, are raising their two young children, Wild and Rocky, alongside their horses and dogs. As a family, they embrace an active outdoor lifestyle and share a love for backcountry snowmobiling and a wide range of adventures.
Growing With Purpose
TAG Ranch is supported by a dedicated and growing group of educators, mentors, wranglers, volunteers, and community partners who help bring our mission to life. As our programs continue to expand, so does the team behind them, each person playing a meaningful role in supporting youth and community at the ranch.
